PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERHITUNG PENJUMLAHAN MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA MANIK-MANIK WARNA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA PADA SISWA KELAS I DI MA DDI GALESONG BARU

This study aims to improve the addition arithmetic skills of natural numbers of grade
I students of MA DDI Galesong Baru using beads as a learning aid. The method used is
Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, each including planning, action
implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 23 grade I
students. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests. The results
showed that in cycle I, 13 students (57%) met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with
an average score of 63.1%. In cycle II, all students achieved KKM with an average score of
93.2%, falling into the very good category. The conclusion of this study is that the use of
beads significantly improves students' addition arithmetic skills, making learning more
interesting and interactive.
